Compact board layout allows three of these modules to be slotted onto our 3-way plate amp control board. This is a fully specced class A/B power amp with nothing missing except for the slots for a second pair of output MosFETs, which in a 3-way plate amp, are not necessary. Simple to build and setup and requires no biasing

Complete Amplifier solution for a plate-amp, monoblock or stereo installation. Includes system board and SCA Power Amp module.
Control board includes AC power wiring, soft-start, speaker protection and auto power-off/on. An additional power amp module can be connected to the control board to provide stereo (L & R) channels. Support for both XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced inputs Connecting a transformer is simple. Board layout conforms with CE Low Voltage Directive in that primary and secondary AC tracks are appropriately spaced.

 Power Supply for up to two Power Amps (l & r). Regulated to between 1 and 10mv of ripple, depending on load. Requires 2x2.5A fast blow fuses. Jumper switches for voltage selection of -/+ 42v or -/+ 48v. Can be run up to -/+ 56v with appropriate modification. Protects against chaos of fuse-failure on one rail by automatically reducing the voltage on the other, protecting your precious amplifier!

 Protects loudspeakers from start-up thump and from any errant DC offset from the power amp. DC voltage detected in either the left or right channel immediately triggers the audio to be cut in both speakers

Heavy duty PCB with terminals for AC transformers and connections to power supplies. Terminals are provided for an AC fuse, On/Off switch and auto-power-off switch. Additional terminals for an AC relay and two thermistors form a "soft-start" feature that protects the on/off switch and other circuitry by limiting inrush current. Can be wired for 220v or 120v DC - see datasheet. Switch nets are snubbed to prevent switch-terminal arcing/pitting

 Heavy duty PCB that separates AC and chassis earth from DC and audio grounds via the diodes of a heavy-duty bridge rectifier.
Current rating: 35A AC and DC Grounds are separated to eliminate ground loops that may be experienced when connecting other equipment to your amplifier.
